Yes, we recommend to continue using Biome Fresh Intimate Wash during your menstruation. Blood, sweat and urine can create a conducive environment for the overgrowth of harmful bacteria at the intimate area. Thus, during menstruation, we require extra care in intimate hygiene to keep the area clean and refreshed.
Can I use Biome Fresh Intimate Wash if I currently have a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)?
A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) affects the urinary tract (internal), while Biome Fresh Intimate Wash is designed solely for use on the vulva (external parts of female genitals). It can help to cleanse and soothe the intimate area, but unable to treat or cure a UTI. We recommend you to seek medical advice during a UTI.
Once you have fully recovered, you can return to using Biome Fresh Intimate Wash as part of your regular hygiene routine.
